Jess got a job at Woolworths as a checkout operator. She’s doing very well at it and is enjoying it too. It’s school holidays at the moment so she’s getting lots of shifts. I’m at a bit of a loose end when she’s at work or out with her friends. I’m not used to having time to myself, I’ll have to start organising some things to do. Myabe I’ll even get some crafts done. I’d like to make some more baskets like the one I made at Mum’s. When school is back I’ll have to see that she has a balance of work and school and breaks.
