Last weekend my Mum hosted a craft weekend at her holiday house. Jessica and I both went along with some of Mum’s and my friends. It was great. Mum’s a very good organiser and she had it all running smoothly. We had craft sessions each day as well as free time and lots of food. Mum had made heaps of homemade biccies, chocolate chews and chocolate cake and the other ladies brought homemade goodies too. Mum and some of the others worked on their bobbin lace, I made decorative buttons and Jessica hand sewed clothes for her teddy bear as well as making buttons. Mum showed us all how to make soy wax candles on Saturday afternoon. I’m going to make more candles to sell at our Teen Challenge op shop. I’ll be selling some of the buttons I made too.
