IEs For Linux

I updated wine and installed IEs for Linux today and now have Internet Explorer 6 working in Linux. This will be handy for checking web page design and viewing pages which only work in IE. This is probably something which has been around for a while but this is the first time I’ve seen it. I think it’s great! It was very easy to install by just following the instructions on the website.

IEs4Linux is the simpler way to have Microsoft Internet Explorer running on Linux (or any OS running Wine).

No clicks needed. No boring setup processes. No Wine complications. Just one easy script and you’ll get three IE versions to test your Sites. And it’s free and open source

I think the beta for IEs4Lin includes IE7 so you can test on that too.
