Well it’s Saturday night at BarCamp WooHoo! Kim set up wireless and wired Internet access from the local Surf Lifesaving Club. We’ve talked, learnt, helped each other and had good food.

Hi,
I stumbled across your blog. I skimmed your archives and saw that we have a few things in common!
I’m a Christian, born and bred in Broken Hill, married and lived in Mannum, shopped at Murray Bridge and currently homeschooling my 4 children and currently ‘in discussion’ with Centrelink wrt my nearly 16yodd and YA.
I have a good friend that works for TC too!
Anyway, I liked your blog!
Regards,
Susan
Hi Susan
Wow that’s funny, I also worked at Cawker’s Well Station (near Wilcannia) as a governess and lived and worked in Wilcannia for a while too.
I came across an email group SA Country Homeschoolers http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sacountryhomeschoolers
if you’re interested. There are other groups around too. Are you part of a local home schooling network or group who get together?
I’m glad you liked my blog 🙂 All the best with the discussions with Centrelink. Are you still in the Murraylands area? The Centrelink office here did their research and we were able to get Youth Allowance for Doug.
All the best, Kylie
